About the Piece
This wearable glass sculpture is an open celebration of the natural curves, strength, and beauty of the human body. I shape each torso completely freehand in an open flame using traditional lampwork techniques, exploring the flowing qualities of molten glass. Because I don't use moulds, every single piece develops its own unique posture and character at the torch.
For the body, I use premium Ivory Effetre (Murano) glass imported from Italy. As it melts and cools, it develops a stunning, organic texture that looks just like ancient, weathered stone.
I embellish the front of the chest with genuine 23.5k gold leaf. This detail is heavily inspired by Kintsugi—the traditional philosophy of mending broken things with gold to celebrate raw beauty, healing, and precious imperfection. Right along the collarbone, I have melted a tiny row of clear, flame-polished glass droplets that catch the light beautifully whenever you move.

Please note: Glass jewellery is surprisingly durable, but it should still be treated as wearable art. Avoid dropping it on hard surfaces like tile, and clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth when needed.
